Three days after it was hit by Russian strikes, firefighters were still extinguishing what remained of a fire at a cultural centre in the village of Derhachi, north of Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv. The building had been turned into a distribution point and was completely destroyed by the strikes. Vyacheslav Zadorenko, Derhachi’s mayor, said the city came under shelling several times and that the aid distribution centre was later hit by an Uragan rocket that caused the three storey building to collapse entirely.
