Bambino Mio Miosolo All-In-One Reusable Nappy at a glance:
These reusable nappies are made of super stretchy water-resistant fabric for the most active babies. The size of the nappy can be changed using the adjustable poppers and hook and loop fastenings to suit the shape of your little one. The concealed super absorbent core and stay-dry inner layer keep moisture away from your baby’s delicate skin, leaving it cool and dry. The Unique pull out tab system makes removing the core from inside the nappy as simple as possible – this improves washing performance and speeds up drying time.

How did this product make your life easier?
Michelle: After i tested out the miosolo nappy, I went out and bought 12 more! I love them! Even though using these nappies means more washing, they are environmentally friendly. Having had 5 children already, and I’m now on my 6th, I was very aware of the impact all our disposable nappies had made. We’re a bit late to the party, but I love how they are just the same as a disposable nappy to wear, but they look even cooler! It also means I don’t have to keep going to the shops all the time now too, I have everything I need!
Laura: As a mum, I’m all too aware of how the majority of baby products available are bad for the environment and not sustainable. I’m constantly trying to find ways to counteract this and re-useable nappies are such a game changer. If we’re being totally honest though, they’re not going to make your life easier. They require quite a lot more in the way of planning and foresight – hence why they are not more widely used, however they will make you feel much better about your environmental impact and once you’ve got the hang of them, the extra bit of work involved won’t seem so much of a pain.
Nicola: We loved these reusable nappies! they fit really well and the adjustable band makes them last as baby grows , so no need to replace too often. They wash well although i do think a nappy liner for them would be helpful to reduce staining. i have noted that lines are available to purchase and will definitely be giving these a go. baby looked happy and comfy in the nappy and we didn’t experience any leaks when using although i have only tried them for daytime so fat. The design is supper cute and suitable for girls or boys which is great for reusing the nappy if more babies come along!. The Velcro fastener makes them easy to put on especially for a wriggly baby who doesn’t like to stay still for long. the nappy is supper fast drying, easy to pack in changing bag and wrap small enough to go into a nappy bag or similar until you get home to wash them. the size of the nappy is adequate enough to contain any potential leaks while still being comfortable and not overly bulky looking on baby.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Melanie: If wanting to decrease your landfill footprint, whilst being able to have snazzy and bright designs on your little one then these are for you. The nappies are very affordable with great fun designs on them. They are also very easy to use and dry fairly quickly. If you have a big wetter, then you will need a booster to enable the nappy to last longer.
Rosie: Beautiful designs, easy to use and wash, I found it very similar to a disposable nappy and it wasn’t overwhelming to get into reusable nappies with such a great product. Washing it was also a lot easier than expected and dried in no time on my radiator, I have bought a few more and they stack neatly into baskets I’ve bought ready to grab one to put on, with my eldest boy I had to buy more boosters but due to the Misolo nappy design very easy to put boosters in to get longer wear out of it. It has been great for my toddler who suffered with nappy rash a lot from disposables, and helped with the teething wees from my youngest who was cutting six teeth at once and his bum was left very sore even with using all the nappy cream products around, this nappy really helped to clear their bottoms up.
Elizabeth: If a fellow mum was planning to cloth nappy I’d definitely recommend this product. They aren’t too bulky. They look cool, they are nice and neutral in design. Lots of great features. I do like that you can adjust the fit as they grow. I tried the nappy before, but then it was a bit too tight around her legs. That could be an issue.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Kirsty: If I am completely honest I do find the miosolo all-in-one reusable nappy slightly overpriced compared to other reusable nappy’s. However the lovely designs does make this particular brand stand out, which also helps with potty training a toddler as they are excited to choose which nappy to put on.
Rimma: I would choose this product above all others because it actually works and it helps save SO many nappies that will otherwise be thrown away. Each one of them will outlive us all. I think a free reusable nappy should be given out to every woman with the free mothers hamper you get at the midwife’s appointment so that all women can give it a try and see how good they are for themselves!
Kirsty: Although I do like the miosolo all-in-one reusable nappy I’m not sure if I would choose this over the others on the market as I feel £15.99 is a bit pricey for one reusable nappy. I have found that there are other reusable nappies that come in sets for a more reasonable price, although the designs aren’t as nice.
What changes would you make to this product?
Michelle: If I could change one thing about this product, it would be that the mio boost inserts we use to up the strength of each nappy, were already sewn into the nappy like the other insert already is. Maybe if it was just sewn into the top part so it could still be separated for easier drying time, it would save me stuffing nappies each evening? Also, my dryer doesn’t have a cool setting on, so it would be super handy if the bambino miosolo nappies were suitable for the full tumble dryer experience! I do love looking at my line full of drying reusable nappies though, but in winter they’re going to take a while to dry I think.
Laura: If there was any way to make them slightly less bulky without compromising on results then that would be great, but otherwise the only thing to consider would be upfront cost. The nappies are sold in packs of 6 for £79.99. For a toddler, 6 would last a maximum of 2 days (not including night wearing) so you’re committing to washing pretty much everyday if that’s all you could afford to buy at the beginning. For a younger baby, 6 would likely not even get you through one day, so you’re going to have to make quite a substantial initial outlay if you want to use these exclusively. Obviously they will more than pay for themselves over the lifetime of use, and of course the quality is reflected in the price, but it is still a substantial amount of money to pay all in one go and unfortunately this is likely to price a number of eco-friendly families out.
Nicola: I wouldn’t change anything about the nappy itself but I would consider purchasing disposable nappy liner inserts for them to reduce staining. we tend to use non bio washing powder with babies delicate skin (as i would say most parents do) and it does really struggle to fully remove the staining but I feel a nappy liner would go some way to alleviate this problem. This problem only effects the nappy aesthetically and makes it look slightly unpleasant when stained but not functionally in any way at all and in no way is a criticism of the design of the nappy over all. the price of the nappy i do feel is a bit expensive but you do seem to pay for the quality you get. the material is lovely and soft, washes well and dries very quickly. we found the nappy to be really good and so easy to use. love the Velcro fastening. we have since bought more and intend to keep using them going forward. i only wish i had been brave enough to give these nappies a go when i had my other two children! no going back now!!
